E4's Skins has ended!!!! last night! the best thing on tv.

There will be more series, but with a whole new cast, which happens every two years, as they go through & then leave college. These have been my favourite generation, the ones I followed & got to know, it's so real, sad.

The show is about a group of tearaway teens, from troubled families, who do drink & drugs a lot, have wild parties, are very sexually active, and cause total mayhem in Bristol. Awesome!

Everyone wants their life to be like Skins, the whole neon, nu-rave slogan tees sunglasses etc... thing, which fells terrible now, was fuelled by the first lot of kids, who went through college the same time as me, I did the whole slogan tees look, massively, with a black & white camo hoodie huge nike trainer/boots and something funny on a chain, like a playing card or something from a cracker, I can remember I even put cardboard cut outs of rubber ducks around my neck, it was ridiculous!

The second lot were a bit darker, more grungy, punk, just love it.

Effy stonem aka actress 'Kaya Scodelario' who is beautiful, and her charachter is so good at throwing clothes on, she seemed to get the latest TOPSHOP before anyone else, I would see things on her, then month later the same thing is in the shop. I mean everyone had that Sid & Nancy vest, and wore it for quite some time. these kids were styled so well.

Here are a few shots of Effy's outfits. everything was baggy, black, checked, ripped with the occasional pearl necklace or bit of lace.

She was always troubled deep down, which is what must have driven her to be so wreckless & seemingly emotionless, she was such a cool mysterious charachter, so aloof, but she couldn't keep it up in the end, she got a bit crazy, she was fascinating to watch.
